Senior-level leadership. Hands-on partnership.
Founded in 2007 by Tanisha L. Washington, The Ashanti Group provides leadership across the full spectrum of business development, capture strategy, and proposal operations.
From proposal writing, editing, and layout to full capture support and infrastructure development, the firm draws on an established network of proposal managers, desktop publishers, graphic designers, and a partner marketing firm to deliver support tailored to each client’s competitive needs.
Tanisha brings 25 years of business development experience. During that career, she has also served as a proposal manager and, on select engagements, as a project manager and Deputy Program Manager. At BCT Partners, she progressed from senior writer/editor and proposal manager to Business Development Director and Capture Manager, supporting an HHS-centered portfolio that included a $1.2 billion SAMHSA IDIQ win.
Her Deputy Program Manager experience includes leadership on a customer-facing CIO-SP3 GWAC engagement. Across her career, she has represented organizations directly with clients and partners as a business development director, deputy program manager, capture leader, proposal manager, and international business liaison.
Her operating range spans five-page responses through 500-plus-page, multi-volume submissions, with experience managing as many as seven proposals concurrently and coordinating teams across multiple time zones and native languages.
